Glass Sculpture – Sunset Seaweed Serenade II Commission

Commissioned 2024

This unique handcrafted fused glass sculpture was commissioned by the Northern Beaches Council to be given as the award for the 2024 ‘Valerie Taylor Underwater Photography Award for Excellence’.  The design was drawn from the original piece, with the additional inspiration coming from the golden kelp found around the Sydney Northern Beaches. The winner of the award was Peter McGee, an underwater photographer.
