All prices are in Australian Dollars (A$) and may change without notice.
Payment is made security by direct credit or via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to purchase. Payment can be made using your credit card. We do not store your credit card information.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are based on the weight of the total order. Express Post may be selected at additional cost. Domestic orders are shipped via Australia Post. International orders are shipped via Australia Post. Please contact me for a quote.
Your order will be shipped within three (3) working days of the order being received. Please note that In My Element Glass Design is located in Australia and shipping to other parts of the world may take 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately In My Element Glass Design has no control over shipping after it leaves our hands at the post office.
International Duties, Taxes and Charges
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to investigate and pay any additional customs duties or charges that may be applicable in your country. These are not included in the sale price.
Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
In My Element Glass Design cannot refund or exchange if you change your mind.
I take the greatest care in producing your items and inspect each item before shipping. I aim to provide the highest quality items possible. Please bear in mind that all In My Element Glass Design products are hand crafted. As such, they may include minor variations and imperfections. These are what gives hand crafted items their unique quality and individual personality. Fused glass is scored and layered by hand and fired in a kiln to very high temperatures with different firing schedules producing different effects. Each of our kilns fire differently so shades and contours may vary slightly from one firing to the next. All pieces are described and photographed carefully. I take care to photograph and describe my items accurately. Be aware, however, that all computers/devices will display colours differently so the colour of the product you receive may be slightly different from the photographs online. Photos of glass often don’t do justice to the colours and tactile nature of fused glass, particularly with the dichroic* and iridised** glass. Contact me if you have any questions.
*Dichroic glass (as described on Wikipedia – and in modern terms) is glass which displays two different colors by undergoing a color change in certain lighting conditions. One dichroic material is a modern composite non-translucent glass that is produced by stacking layers of glass and micro-layers of metals or oxides which give the glass shifting colors depending on the angle of view, causing an array of colors to be displayed as an example of thin-film optics.
**Iridised glass (as described by Carnival Glass Worldwide) – sometimes spelled “iridized” is a rainbow-like effect on the surface, a bit like soap bubbles or the effect of oil-on-water that you sometimes see in puddles. You can see the same sort of effect on the surface of a CD too. The feathers of some birds and the wings of some butterflies also have a shimmering iridescence.
If you feel an item is faulty please advise me within 14 days of receipt with photos of the issue. If I deem there is a problem, I will either replace the item or provide a full refund upon return of the item. Return postage fees are your responsibility. All returned items must be in original condition, unused, unwashed and with original packaging.
I’m a sorry that there can be no refund or exchange on custom orders. If there is a problem with your order, please let me know and I will do my best to rectify the problem.
In My Element Glass Design will not disclose your details to any third party. All transactions are handled securely via PayPal. We do not store your credit card information.
Care instructions are provided with each product listing. Please follow these instructions to ensure the durability of your glass goods. In My Element Glass Design cannot refund or replace items which are damaged or worn due to incorrect care.
