Note: 2024 was the inaugural ‘Valerie Taylor Underwater Photography Award for Excellence 2024, which was won by Pete McGee. Valerie Taylor AM presented this award at a prize giving ceremony held at the Manly Art Gallery & Museum, Manly 29 Nov 2024. My inspiration for this year comes from the critically endangered and very colourful Swift Parrot that migrates north from Tassie to our southeast NSW forests each year.
