Description
Sunset Seaweed Serenade draws its energy from the colours of a coastal sunset. Warm tones flow through layered glass and echo the glow that settles over the sea. The lines move with a gentle rhythm and reflect seaweed drifting at dusk.
I build this sculpture through a careful kiln‑forming process. I arrange each layer to create depth, movement, and variation. Because of this, the colours shift softly across the surface. Every piece develops its own character, so no two sculptures ever match.
Gold, green, coral, amber, and sea blue shape the palette. These colours mirror the warmth of evening light. As a result, the sculpture brings a calm and radiant presence into any space.
The glass responds beautifully to changing light. Throughout the day, new tones appear as the surface catches brightness from different angles. Therefore, the piece feels alive even when still.
This sculpture forms part of a series exploring water, light, and coastal forms. Through its warm colours and flowing lines, Sunset Seaweed Serenade celebrates the quiet poetry of the shoreline. It offers a touch of contemporary coastal elegance for the home.
